Number one in the list of Sasna Tsrer party Varuzhan Avetisyan voted for sovereign, powerful Armenia which will be homeland for all Armenians.

“We have the prerequisites and we must work together to make it a reality,” Avetisyan said, after casting his ballot.

As to whether he agrees with the police chief’s assessment that the campaign was unprecedented, he said it is not the function of police chief to assess the campaign.

“It is not his function to make assessments about it. In Armenia we imagine the police chiefs must stay away from making political comments. It is a transition period and I hope we will not see such cases anymore,” Avetisyan said.

As to whether equal conditions have been created for all the forces, Avetisyan said that during this transition period, naturally, the desired equality could not have been achieved.
