Lowest voter turnout at snap parliamentary elections registered in Shirak’s Akhuryan town, the highest in Syunik’s Kapan
The lowest turnout in the elections as of now has been registered in Akhuryan town of Armenia’s Shirak region. As of 11 a.m. only 5.25% of voters there or 698 residents participated in the voting there.
The highest voter turnout has been registered in Kapan, Armenia’s Syunik province. Over 12.71% or 4,952 voters cast their ballots there.
High voter turnout has also been registered in Ararat town of Ararat region with 11.52%, in Goris town of Syunik region 10.39% and in Martuni, Gegharkunik region, where 10.23% of voters or 1,054 people participated in the voting.
In capital Yerevan 7.86% of voters or 66,794 of eligible 849,912 voters participated in the polls.
