Conducted snap parliamentary elections Pashinyan’s caprice not “pan-national” demand: Armen Ashotyan
First political assessments may already be made basing on the initial data of CEC on voter turnout at the snap parliamentary elections in Armenia, Republican party vice chairman Armen Ashotyan wrote in Facebook page.
He said the elections which were the result of unprecedented political persecutions, pressures on the activity of the NA registered less than 50% voter turnout.
“It proves that the conduction of snap elections in December was not “pan-national demand” but result of Nikol Pashinyan’s personal political calculations and interests. Neither Nikol Pashinyan’s all-Armenian trip helped, nor his Facebook live videos, nor the used administrative resources. These elections were Nikol Pashinyan’s caprices on the background of people’s apathy and disappointment,” Ashotyan wrote.
