My Step bloc’s list of candidates not promising: ethnographer

Even My Step bloc does not come to parliament with a promising list, ethnographer Hranush Kharatyan said at a news conference today.

“Neither have the relationship ties, nor political purposefulness nor the influence of authoritative been overcome. My opinion is that they will be displayed in different ways in near future either by squeezing button in the parliament or by forming quantitative majority over highly important and principal issues influencing the decision-making,” Kharatyan said.

She said there are strict grounds for concerns on how to restraint or influence the process.

“Of course, our society has experience. It has experienced hard disappointments and overcame them and continued living. Now Nikol Pashinyan constantly states that My Step and the revolution mean people’s authority. If he supposes that the authority of the people was just free voting, we have serious grounds for concerns,” she said.
