There is no greater honor than serving to the Homeland and people: Republican party deputy chairman

Republican party deputy chairman Armen Ashotyan wished success all those in the new parliament who will be responsible for promoting Armenia’s state interests in international arena.

“I have been entrusted the post of the chairman of the NA foreign relations standing committee since May 2017. During this time I have not spared an effort for serving parliamentary diplomatic opportunities for the sake of our state interests,” he wrote in Facebook page, adding that during his tenure he has promoted the development of Armenia-EU relations.

“Together with the efforts of my colleagues we have neutralized tens of anti-Armenian initiatives and formulations. During this period no document that could have harmed Armenia and Artsakh’s interests have been adopted.

He also said that a special attention was paid to the relations with Russia and reinforcement of Armenian-Russian inter-parliamentary relations.

Ashotyan thanked all for the cooperation, readiness and devotion and wished success to those who will represent Armenia’s interests in international organizations.

“There is no greater honor than serving to the Homeland and people and this service is continuous mission for me, not work. Thank you for trust, see you,” Ashotyan concluded.
