General-Lieutenant Levon Mnatsakanyan dismissed on the basis of own resignation application: spokesperson Davit Babayan

Staff policy is the most dynamic one and the change of staff is a quite normal phenomenon, spokesperson for Artsakh President Davit Babayan told Aysor.am, referring to the changes in the staff of Artsakh’s Defense Army.

“General-Lieutenant Levon Mnatsakanyan has been dismissed on the basis of his resignation application and appointed in not less important post - director of the Artsakh Republic State Service on Emergency Situations,” Babayan said, not commenting on the reasons of Mnatsakanyan’s resignation.

“General-Lieutenant Levon Mnatsakanyan is one of our best generals, commanders, he has passed an important path, he is greatly respected, he has a great contribution to army-building. Another achievement of our army is that a powerful system has been created and the army is based not only on personalities but on all the circles. New commander Mr Abrahamyan is also a prepared officer with a great experience,” Babayan said.
