Armenia’s acting PM, Canadian PM have phone conversation, highlight importance of Canadian investments in Armenia
Armenia’s acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The Canadian PM congratulated Pashinyan on the high-level conduction of elections in Armenia, stressing that it is important not only for Armenia but the whole region and the world.
“Now bigger opportunities are created for development, promotion of Armenian-Canadian relations, the time has come to work in that direction,” Pashinyan stressed.
Trudeau said that the Canadian government and he in particular are ready to put all the efforts for assisting Armenia.
He noted that Canada has big investment opportunities and is ready to make them real in Armenia.
The Armenian acting PM stressed the importance of Canadian investments in Armenia.
The leaders of the two countries voiced hope that they will have an occasion to meet in near future and discuss bilateral agenda issues.
