Lukashenko has no right to interfere into Karabakh conflict settlement process: political analyst
Political analyst Levon Shirinyan does not think that the statements made by president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko should be treated seriously.
“He is always seeking uncertain things. You’d better ask Serzh Sargsyan what conversation took place,” Shirinyan said, speaking to Aysor.am, referring to the statement of Lukasheko about urging Serzg Sargsyan to hand 5 territories but Sarsgyan refused.
The political analyst said such statements are aimed at exerting pressure on Armenia’s political processes.
“Aliyev is speaking about favorable solution of Artsakh issue, Lukashenko says about Serzh Sargsyan’s refusal. They have one goal – deploy troops in Artsakh. But I would advice not to treat these statements seriously. Lukashenko is no one to be able to settle Artsakh conflict. There is a Minsk Group for doing it,” he said.
The political analyst said that such statements are the result of jamming by neighbor states. Shirinyan said he has many times stated that there is no Artsakh issue thus there is no need to speculate the issue. It should be settled in the sidelines of international right.
