Ex Human Rights Defender describes Pashinyan’s statement addressed to Artsakh authorities ‘inadmissible’
Former Human Rights Defender Larisa Alaverdyan considers tough positions voiced from Artsakh to Armenia and vice versa inadmissible.
“I negatively evaluate expressions made by Nikol Pashinyan in the address of Artsakh authorities. They were not proper for high ranking official,” she said, adding that neither the tone nor the wording were acceptable.
During My Step bloc’s campaign Nikol Pashinyan called President of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan to call members of his government to order and deal with their activities not making comments without any reasons.
According to some news, the resignation of Artsakh Defense Army Commander Levon Mnatsakanyan is agreed with Pashinyan’s statement.
Larisa Alaverdyan said, no matter how the authorities and their associates claim that there is no connection, the timeframe shows the opposite.
As to Levon Mnatsakanyan, Larisa Alaverdyan said that for both soldiers and state and political figures he will remain as a person with supreme values.
“Whoever is appointed to this post now, he has a challenge to keep the level set by Mnatsakanyan,” Alaverdyan said.
