EU to provide 6.5 million Euros for stress tests in Armenia’s Nuclear Power Plant
The Armenian government approved at the cabinet sitting today the draft decree of the Armenian president on “Promotion of Nuclear Safety in Armenia and Proposals on Implementation of Stress-Tests” funding contract signed between Armenia and EU.
The draft contract has been submitted for president’s approval.
The total cost of the works makes 6,5 million Euros.
The implementation term starts from the moment the funding contract enters into force and ends in 96 months.
The cooperation between Armenia and EU in energy sector is set by the provisions of the Armenian-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement signed on November 24, 2017.
