Putin hopes Russian-Armenian trade turnover growth to be continuative
The trade turnover between Armenia and Russia grows and it is necessary to preserve the existing tempos, Russia’s president Vladimir Putin said at the meeting with Armenia’s acting PM Nikol Pashinyan.
“Our relations have no need to be described. We have really allied relations,” Russian president said.
He stressed in particular that Russia is top one Armenia’s partner, our bilateral trade-turnover grew by 30% in 2017.
“During the ten months of this year the trade turnover has grown by another 17.5%. The tempo is quite promising and should be preserved,” Russia’s president said.
He said Moscow is ready to do everything depending on it to preserve relations with Yerevan not only in economy sector but in security sector as well.
He said that this is the first visit of Pashinyan to Russia after convincing victory at December 9 snap parliamentary elections in Armenia.
“I wish you success in implementation of all your projects for the sake of Armenia and the Armenian people,” Putin said.
