SIS releases ex defense minister Seyran Ohanyan on signature bond
Former defense minister Seyran Ohanyan has been charged with the overthrow of constitutional order in Armenia in March 2008.
Aysor.am sources report that his preventive measure is signature bond on not leaving the country.
The Special Investigation Service though still avoids providing official information about his involvement in the case as a defendant.
Seyran Ohanyan is the 6th ex official charged in the sidelines of the March 1 criminal case.
Till now charges have been filed against second president Robert Kocharyan who is currently in jail, Vahagn Harutyunyan, former chief investigator of the case, ex defense minister Michael Harutyunyan, former secretary general of the CSTO and ex secretary of the National Security Council Armen Gevorgyan.
During March 1, 2008 developments Seyran Ohanyan was chief of staff of Armed Forces.
