PAP to be voice of people in the NA: Tsarukyan

Prosperous Armenia party leader Gagik Tsarukyan is not planning to abandon his mandate, he said speaking to reporters today, repeating that he is not a businessman but an owner.

“If people knew I would abandon my mandate they would not have given their votes to me. If after the revolution the old forces are vanishing, it means that Tsarukyan enjoys great trust among people and was backed by them and has become the second force in the parliament,” he said.

Asked whether the PAP will be opposition in the parliament or not, Tsarukyan said, “PAP is the voice of people in the parliament. We will be consistent in the implementation of projects and promises given so much hope to people. We will voice the issues. We will back what is useful to people and be against what will harm them,” he said.
