Russia’s president congratulates Nikol Pashinyan on appointment
President of Russia Vladimir Putin congratulated Nikol Pashinyan on being appointed Prime Minister of Armenia, Kremlin press service reports.
“Putin has particularly stressed that the relations between Armenia and Russia are based on friendship and mutual respect, and the countries have acquired a considerable experience for effective cooperation in different sectors,” the press service reported.
In the congratulatory address Putin also expressed hope that the dialogue and the constructive joint work will promote the strengthening of further allied relations between the two countries and cooperation in the integration processes in the Eurasian territory, which he stressed corresponds to the interests of the two brotherly peoples.
