PAP leader says has no commitments before anyone but state and the people

My business is my property, I have no commitments before anyone, Prosperous Armenia party leader Gagik Tsarukyan told the reporters today, asked for what business he has commitments before Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan.

“I have commitments only before my state and the people. I will implement my commitment. I will return smiles to people. My business is my personal. The whole world knows that I have no commitments before anyone,” he said.

Tsarukyan also referred to the arrest of Armenia’s second president at the same time denying any connection between his party and Kocharyan.

“I have not interfered into any issue to refrain from unnecessary talks. As to Kocharyan, I have many times stated that the issue is dealt by investigative bodies, investigators, judges. Each person, citizen is equal before law, no one will have privileges,” he said.

As to whether he agrees with the claims of Kocharyan’s defense team that the latter is a political prisoner, Tsarukyan said, “Everything will be clear after the trial.”
