PAP is opposition, no need to state about it: Naira Zohrabyan

Who said that Prosperous Armenia party is not an opposition, PAP MP Naira Zohrabyan told the reporters asked why they do not state about being an opposition.

She stressed that to be an opposition does not mean to state about it, it is a political reality.

“There is a clear majority which forms the ruling force. There is no need to state that a political force which is not in the power is opposition. I think there is no need of giving oaths, making statements,” she said.

Zohrabyan also stressed that there is no tension between the PAP and Bright Armenia party but they have never avoided debates and will not do it in future as well.

“We are not the ones provoking tension. I urge my colleagues to stay in the political field and not target personalities,” she said, adding that an impression is as if Bright Armenia has targeted the PAP and not My Step.
