Bright Armenia faction head reminds about case with wiretapped conversation, says European courts to remind about them

There is an impression as if the case with wiretapped conversation was digested and forgotten, head of Bright Armenia faction Edmon Marukyan stated at the NA today.

“You will hear its voice from the European courts. My question to the NA chairman whether we are going to invite and listen to the people to understand which judges they call, where they call and why they call was not accidental. A criminal case has been filed but nothing is being said,” Marukyan said, adding that he will forward concrete questions regarding it.

Referring to the courts, Marukyan said that a situation has been created when judges avoid examining criminal cases.

“The executive power must give clear formulations that today attorneys are under protection. They must be protected by the state, the courts must be independent and these should not be just in the statements but concrete actions must be carried out,” he said, stressing that now even chief editor of a paper which supported the revolution complains.
