NA chairman does not share pessimistic assessments addressed to new authorities
I do not share all the pessimistic assessments about the path the authorities have already passed and about the new phase to be launched, NA chairman Ararat Mirzoyan said, referring to the statement of former Armenian ambassador to the Holy See Mikayel Minasyan that the people demand living good while this authorities will not be able to satisfy this demand which will result in new public unrest.
The NA chairman said he does not want to comment such a statement. “I do not comment on this statement, I just want to say in general about such claims that for years Armenia was facing problems of justice, rights and freedoms. The existence of these issues caused the revolution. The authorities have already solved the number one challenge: hence free and fair, dignified Armenia is already a reality,” he said, stressing that now the second phase of reforms starts which refers to economy and social sector and the authorities have to make serious changes there.
“Let’s not forget that these authorities came to power a month ago. I do not share any of the pessimistic assessments voiced over the path the authorities have passed and are going to pass,” he said.
In an interview to Aysor.am Mikayel Minasyan noted that if these authorities fail to satisfy the demand of the people to live good too, again public unrest will start, until a force comes and frankly says that the people will live good and shows the way and presents strategy and a team able to bring it into reality.
