MP from Kurdish community to voice all the issues and to seek their solution
Representative of the Kurdish community in Armenia’s NA Knyaz Hasanov positively assesses the work with the previous National Assembly, stressing that in this parliament too he will continue intensively voicing the issues of Kurdish community in Armenia.
Speaking to Aysor.am, Hasanov said that during the activity of the previous parliament several issues were raised with some of them having been solved and some being in the process. The MP said at the previous parliament water issue in the communities, bad roads, educational and cultural issues were voiced.
“One of the roads of the village is in terrible condition. I have voiced the issue during the government-NA Q&A and the transport, communication and IT minister [Vahan Martirosyan] promised me to include the issue in the 2018 action plan but it did not happen as he quitted his activity in the post, and these issues remained unsolved,” he said, adding that he is going to address them to the current minister Hakob Arshakyan.
Hasanov also stressed that one of the important issues of the Kurdish community was the lack of text books which has been solved but there are many issues regarding preservation of cultural identity.
Summing up the work with the previous NA, Hasanov said that the previous parliament was quite effective. “Now too issues are being voiced, and I convince that all the issues of the community will be voiced and solved,” he concluded.
