Pashinyan, Aliyev agree “at least not to avoid meetings” while in the same place: Armenia’s PM unveils details
The meeting with the president of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Davos is neither official launch of negotiation nor a harbor, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in live video in Facebook.
“It was our third meeting and conversation with Ilham Aliyev. The previous meetings were not planned too. We had an issue to discuss the situations when two of us participate in the same events. For instance, it happens when we appear in front of each other and as far as we have not discussed the issue some situations are being created,” Pashinyan said, adding that during this meeting they agreed "at least not to avoid meeting with one another if being in the same place."
As to the content of the conversation, Pashinyan said that during these three meetings they discussed the history of negotiations and the developments in each phase.
“We are not discussing any detail concretely, we just exchange ideas, present our views over negotiation process,” Pashinyan said, urging to stop searching for any plots, conspiracies behind the meetings.
