Armenia’s MFA discusses setting visa-free regime with China
With the decision of the Armenian government the citizens having passports of China’s Hongkong special administrative region will be allowed to enter Armenia without getting visas.
The citizens of Armenia will be allowed to stay in Hongkong special administrative region without entrance visas for 30 days, and the citizens coming to Armenia from Hongkong special administrative region have a right to stay here without visas for 180 days.
The regime will enter into force from March 3, 2019.
Armenia’s Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan said issue on setting visa-free regime for citizens with common passports is also being discussed. He stressed that the Chinese side has already presented an international draft agreement which will be studied by the ministry.
He said after all the necessary processes are carried out the ministry will submit a proposal to the PM and the government.
“We are yet to pass several phases regarding our inner discussions,” Mnatsakanyan said.
