Hraparak: EU is afraid of failure of the Armenian government to implement EU-Armenia Agreement
Hraparak paper writes that the European Union is planning to create a government-affiliated council of advisers consisting of high ranking, European leading specialists.
“More probably, the EU is afraid that if it continues so the Armenian authorities will fail the implementation of the EU-Armenian agreement in time due to lack of competence,” the paper cited a governmental source as saying.
The paper though says that it is not excluded that the authorities slow down the process on purpose having concerns regarding Russia. “I do not exclude it, but I think the government will approve the decision and the council will act. By the way such like council of experts was acting during the tenure of prime minister Tigran Sargsyan but it was not so representative. This one will be of quite other level,” the source told the paper.
