Issues of Artsakh’s status and security key priorities for Armenia: FM
Armenia has not diverted from its position, Armenia’s Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan told the reporters today.
He stressed that it is strange for him that the statements about preparing peoples for peace raise mandatory moods among some people.
“We have not diverted from anything we said. I am sure you have many times heard that our position has not changed. We have stated that we are committed to the principles relating to exclusively peaceful settlement of the conflict within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group. We have stated that the issues of status and security are the main priorities for Armenia. The negotiations are being held over them. These are our priorities there is nothing new you do not know,” the minister said.
Referring to the involvement of Nagorno Karabakh in the talks, Mnatsakanyan said that it needs consistent efforts.
“If it is difficult to reach now, it does not mean that we forget about it and move forward. It is a concrete practical issue for us,” he said.
