Vladimir Karapetyan appointed PM’s new spokesperson
Vladimir Karapetyan, former spokesperson of ex Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanyan has been appointed Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s spokesperson.
“I have received proposal to head the press service of the PM few days ago,” Karapetyan wrote, saying that to say how he was surprised is ‘to say nothing’. “I have accepted the proposal. First of all I consulted with my party mates in the office of the Armenian National Congress,” he wrote, adding that he received full support of his friends.
Karapetyan said that as far as the state service demands some written and not written restrictions and one of them is party activity, he decided to suspend it during the state service.
“It is an honor for me to return to state service. I am thankful to PM Pashinyan for the proposal,” Karapetyan wrote in Facebook.
