Russia wants predictability and permanence in relations with Armenia: deputy Russian FM
Russian deputy foreign minister Vladimir Karasin and Armenia’s Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan discussed a number of issues on Armenian-Russian cooperation, Karasin told the reporters in Yerevan today.
“A very extensive conversation took place with the foreign minister of Armenia. We have discussed all the issues on bilateral relations, which continue developing steadily,” Karasin said.
“Predictability is very important. The two sides understand it very well. We need permanence, openness, understanding of ideas and intentions of one another. We have agreed to have frequent close contacts, coordination in international arenas as well. We are developing cooperation and will continue doing it in future as well,” the Russian deputy FM said.
He also said that the session of the Armenian-Russian inter-governmental commission on trade-economic cooperation will take place in near future.
