Germany does not interfere into Armenia’s domestic affairs: Merkel
Germany does not interfere into domestic affairs of Armenia anyway, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said today at joint press conference with Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Germany, Berlin.
She said after democratic elections in Armenia the relations between the EU and Armenia will develop more intensively.
“We will be very happy to assist Armenia. We have good opportunity to develop the relations by providing mutual assistance,” Merkel stressed.
PM Pashinyan said that obviously a very good partnership atmosphere has been established in Armenia-EU relations.
“I do not think we will meet any obstacles and there is no doubt that the development of relations will continue,” the PM said.
He stressed that the ball is in Armenia’s field and the government must start carrying out reforms more effectively.
