Armenia adopts constructive policy at Euronest: delegation head
The Armenian delegation to Euronest has pleasantly surprised the European partners with their constructive position from the very first time of engagement in its works, head of the delegation Mkhitar Hayrapetyan told the reporters today, briefing on the first visit of the new delegation to the Eastern Partnership Parliamentary Assembly.
Hayrapetyan stressed that before participating in the works the delegation discussed the prior issues it wants to voice at the gathering.
The head of the delegation said that the Armenian delegation attaches significance to the constructive work in the Euronest and with Azerbaijani colleagues in particular.
“We are going to be very constructive. Our European partners have got a very possitive impression from our delegation,” he said.
Hayrapetyan also stressed that they have draw the attention of the colleagues to policy of sowing hatred toward Armenians in the Azerbaijani secondary schools. They asked how the European partners imagine preparing the two peoples to peace in conditions when the Azerbaijanisare raising the children with the hatred toward Armenians.
The head of the delegation also stressed that before the works of the Euronest he met with the head of the former delegation Armen Ashotyan.
“It was my initiative. We talked about different inner issues and referred to possible anti-Armenian resolutions to be presented at 2019 fall session and what anti-mechanisms the Armenian delegation should undertake,” Hayrapetyan said.
