Debt issue in Gazprom Armenia discussed: acting deputy director

The issues on whether debt is collected, not collected will be discussed, acting deputy director of Gazprom Armenia Vakhtang Mirumyan told the reporters today, asked how the company is working regarding the unchanged inner price but raise of gas price on the border.

“Discussions continue in all directions. I cannot tell of any result as of now. We are also speaking about investment program, capital restorations, losses,” he said.

Asked whether if it remains so the company will close the year with losses, Mirumyan said that as far as discussions have not been completed no concrete answer may be given.

As to whether the company is a negotiating side or not, Mirumyan clarified not a negotiating side but an involved side.

“Gazprom Armenia representatives are actively involved in the discussions at Public Services Regulatory Committee, government and authorized energy sector bodies,” he said, adding that 2 months are set for negotiations but they will probably last longer.
