Armenia to work over boosting friendly partnership relations with the United States

According to the presented program, the Armenian government will intensively work over consistent development of friendly partnership relations with the United States.

The government is aimed at boosting partnership with the United States to enhance the dialogue aimed at assisting Armenia’s development and implementation of reforms as well as at ensuring regional security.

The government will also work toward expansion of friendly relations and partnership with the EU, its member states and other European countries.

The implementation of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Free Trade Agreement is viewed as an important factor promoting the implementation of reforms by the Armenian government.

The government will also continue undertaking steps to ensure establishment of visa-free regime with the EU for the citizens of Armenia.

A special attention will be paid to the development of relations with Iran and Georgia. The government stresses that the relations with these countries will not be subjected to any geopolitical developments.
