Armenian government to work toward improvement of people’s living conditions: finance minister

The session of My Step faction with the participation of minister of finance Atom Janjughazyan kicked off in the National Assembly. The minister came to the NA but refused to unveil to the reporters what issues will be discussed at the session.

“The meeting is closed,” he said.

Referring to the government’s action plan, the minister said that the absence of concrete numbers is natural.

“It is natural that no figures are mentioned. The viewpoint that the absence of numbers means that the program is incomplete is wrong. Each government decides on its own what program to have, what to mention in it and what not,” Janjughazyan said.

Asked whether the implementation of the program will make people feel improvement of living conditions, the minister said, “We must do everything for the people to feel it,” he said, adding that they want all members of the society to feel the changes but it is more a wish than a reality.
