UN Economic Commission for Europe recognizes Azerbaijan’s complaint against Armenia groundless
United Nations Economic Commission for Europe has recognized the complaint of the Azerbaijani side filed in 2011 against Armenian ungrounded, head of the MFA International Organizations Department Vahram Kazhoyan wrote in Facebook.
“As a result of 8-year long diplomatic “war” and extremely tensed “judicial” hearings and negotiations we have brought to a triumphal end an issue very important for Armenia in the sidelines of Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context,” he wrote.
Kazhoyan wrote that in 2011 Azerbaijan filed a complaint against Armenia which was denied by delegations from foreign, natural protection and energy ministries at tens of hearings during the past eight years.
“Today the decision was officially adopted. It registers that Armenia completely fulfils the provisions of the convention and Azerbaijani complaint is groundless,” Kazhoyan wrote.
