My Step faction MP says government’s program aimed at future
The government’s program is aimed at future, chairman of the State-Legal Affairs Standing Committee Vladimir Vardanyan said, describing the program of the government speaking with reporters today.
He said the program involves almost all the issues of Armenia’s foreign and domestic policy.
“The government’s program is a concept document it cannot include all the procedures. As to me, it includes all the foreign and domestic issues of the country,” Vardanyan said, adding that some issues may have found place there too but the government more probably will try to undertake steps over them in future in a working regime.
Among them he mentioned the law on parties, constitutional changes, transit justice. He said the issues were included in My Step bloc’s electoral program but have not been registered in the government’s program.
Vardanyan said that the “transit justice” term is not being mentioned in the program but there are some remarks about it in the program.
“There are many sectors which speak about the balance between the branches of power. But I would tell you that government’s program must not be about everything,” he said, adding that besides government the National Assembly too has an agenda and activity. “It is a program aimed at future,” My Step faction MP said.
