Association of Armenian mission in Syria with Russia threat to national interests and security: Sasna Tsrer Pan-Armenian party

According to official sources, Armenian side has sent a group of Armenian specialists consisting of 83 people to Syria.

Pan-Armenian Sasna Tsrer party released a statement over the fact, stating that previously they too expressed their concern and stated that associating the mission with Russia is a threat to Armenia’s national interests and security and urged the government to refrain from that step.

“In the sidelines of the Russian military-political interference in Syria and the initiative under its augites in Syria is a threat to our national interests and security. We are forced to register with pain that the Armenian government ignores the vital necessity to overcome the dependence from Russia and establish dignified relation and continues the foreign policy adopted by the former regime which inevitably mean refusal from autonomy in foreign relations,” the statement runs.
