My Step MP offers to establish two-chamber parliament
My Step faction MP Hovhannes Aghazaryan has been elected deputy chairman of the Economic Affairs Standing Committee.
His candidacy has been nominated by MP Hayk Gevorgyan.
“Many imagine economic revolution as an extraordinary thing. My idea is that one of the most important manifestations in the context of economic revolution is that the corruption has been beheaded,” Aghazaryan said.
The MP also noted that the Armenian parliament must have two chambers with the upper chamber to deal with Diaspora issues.
At the same time the MP noted that it is the matter of future.
The chairman of the committee is Babken Tunyan. The committee consists of 15 members with 10 from My Step, 3 from prosperous Armenia and 2 from Bright Armenia.
