Armenia’s PM calls community heads to join them in building free, powerful and happy Armenia
Do not hope that after the parliamentary elections all will forget why they have gathered and everything will start from the very beginning, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during “New Format of State-Community Cooperation: Development of Infrastructures” conference.
“The only thing that will happen in Armenia will be eradication of corruption. During this period we have given chances to many and may be to all. Those who will not make use of it in parallel with the changing reality will deal with law enforcement bodies,” Pashinyan said.
Speaking about the issues in communities, Pashinyan said that in some places the old traditions still prevail like for instance registering relatives in staffs of community offices, accepting to jobs relatives and friends. He stressed that they will fight against these ill manifestations.
“The heads of communities must not be measures with one criteria. I am speaking about existing traditions. I welcome the heads of communities who enjoy the trust of the residents and are ready to become government’s allies in replacing the old reality with the new one,” he said, adding that everything will be done to support them in that issue.
The PM stressed that a new important phase opens in Armenia. “Armenia has no way back. It will move forward with high tempos. I invite all the heads of communities who enjoy the trust of residents of their communities build free, powerful and happy Armenia,” Pashinyan said.
