We have a number of investment projects at our hand: Armenia’s Prime Minister
We have a number of investment projects at our hand, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the cabinet sitting today.
“Part of these projects is implementable, part of them is unserious, part of them needs to be worked on, by the way the potential investors are looking for different ways to contact with the state,” he said.
Pashinyan stressed that some of them prefer to work with ministries, some with deputy PMs or PM and some with governors.
“It is normal, they work with those they want, but investment negotiations must be centralized at economic development and investments ministry,” Pashinyan said.
He said a person’s bank history is very important for understanding the investment potential of a person.
“If a person did not have $5,000 on his bank account during his whole life and comes and says I want to make investments amounting to $80million, it is clear that something is wrong here,” the PM said.
