Implementation of Armenia-EU agreement opens new opportunities for cooperation: Armenia’s FM meets with Dutch counterpart
Within the framework of visit to Munich Armenia’s Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met on February 15 with Foreign Minister of Netherlands Stef Blok, MFA press service reports.
The two ministers discussed a number of issues on bilateral relations between the two countries, noting the necessity to use the existing potential more efficiently and expanding cooperation sectors.
Among the sectors of cooperation the ministers stressed IT, agriculture and health. Minister Mnatsakanyan briefed on the Armenian’s achievements in high technology, innovations sectors attaching significance to the conduction of World Congress of IT in Yerevan in October and presence of Dutch companies there.
Referring to the relations with the EU, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan reaffirmed the commitment of the Armenian government to effectively implement Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement, noting that its effective implementation opens a wide field of partnership in bilateral and multilateral formats.
During the meeting the sides also referred to the regional and international issues.
