Artsakh President’s spokesperson Davit Babayan states about creation of new political force, participation in 2020 elections
Spokesperson for the Artsakh Republic president Davit Babayan is creating a new political force named Artsakh’s Conservative party.
“The domestic political life in our country has entered a new dynamically developing phase which relates to all of us,” he wrote in Facebook, stressing that each patriot and conscientious person must participate in the country’s social-political life with it contributing to the development, empowerment of the state.
He wrote that after thinking long and being encouraged by many friends and associates he has decided together with them create a new political force – Artsakh’s Conservative party.
“We appreciate all the positive, all the achievements and victories of the past three decades. The people reached that at the cost of deprivations and loss of its brave sons, the people reached it with their hard work, unbreakable belief and unlimited optimism. We must preserve all these achievements,” Babayan stressed, adding that at the same time the social-political life, geopolitical processes are developing dynamically which demands involvement of people with potential, high system of values and skills into the political life of the country.
“Considering this must, we want to have active participation in the development and empowerment of our country, defend the interests of our people by applying new ideas and approaches in the process of statehood building,” he wrote, stating that the force is going to actively participate in the 2020 parliamentary elections and in case of getting people’s votes and being represented in the NA they will have an opportunity to carry out their programs more effectively.
Babayan also stressed that Artsakh’s sovereignty, high level of security, democracy and environment protection are absolute values for them.
The spokesperson also stressed that they will not view anyone as an enemy and are against of any polarization.
“Our biggest potential is our unity,” he said, adding that he will periodically present their approaches over political, economic, social, geopolitical and other issues via live videos on Facebook.
