Head of My Step faction rejects being instructed by PM to periodically invite heads of state structures to NA
The MPs of My Step faction gave all the possible questions to the chief of the Armenian police chief Valeriy Osipyan, including about the growth of the crime rate in Armenia, head of the faction Lilit Makunts told the reporters after the meeting.
“The police chief noted few circumstances agreed with the amnesty, the others he said are agreed with the growth in the number of applicants. In any case we clarified what measures police are undertaking to control the situation. He said everything is under control and they cooperate with the self-governmental bodies,” the MP said.
Makunts also said that they have discussed issues of salaries of the police officers.
Asked whether no optimization is expected in the law enforcement system, the head of the faction said that she is not aware of it.
As to whether the Prime Minister instructed the MPs of My Step to periodically invite heads of different state structures, Makunts said, “I reject it, there is no such thing.”
The MP also said that they are expecting to meet with the territorial administration and development minister Suren Papikyan tomorrow at 11 a.m.
