Armenia’s third president meets party members every day: Galust Sahakyan

Armenia’s third president Serzh Sargsyan is meeting with party members every day, member of the Republican party Galust Sahakyan told the reporters at Yerablur Military Pantheon today.

“Rather serious discussions are taking place,” Sahakyan said, refusing to unveil the viewpoints of Serzh Sargsyan over domestic political developments in Armenia.

“I will say one thing, there is a person today, Nikol Pashinyan who was an opposition and today too works as an opposition. I am not familiar with others, and I cannot say whether they will become party figures or not,” Sahakyan said.

He noted that Pashinyan continues being guided with the logic of an opposition figure.

“He was and has remained the same opposition figure. He did not like Republicans while he was an opposition and he does not like the Republicans being a Prime Minister,” Sahakyan stressed.
