Bright Armenia lawmaker describes PM’s statement about foreign agent politicians as “gossip” if no facts are presented

If the prime minister claims that there are such people in Armenia’s political field, the NSS must fall on their trace and publicize all the results of their examination, MP from Bright Armenia faction Gevorg Gorgisyan said, referring to the statement of Armenia’s PM in Iran about politicians in Armenia who are more foreign agents.

Gorgisyan said he does not know who the PM meant while saying so.

“If Mr Prime Minister has concrete facts about concrete people, I think it will be right to pass them to corresponding bodies and start corresponding procedure, otherwise this will be another attempt to distort the political field which is not a good thing to do,” the lawmaker said.

As to whether it was a message addressed to the non parliamentary or parliamentary opposition, Gorgisyan said that this is the question to be addressed to the PM. “If there are facts, they should be followed by concrete actions, if not this is just a gossip,” he said.
