Azerbaijan FM, OSCE Minsk Group Russian co-chair discuss Armenia’s NSS chief’s statement

Azerbaijani foreign minister Elmar Mammadyarov discussed the statements made by the Armenian side with the Russian co-chair of the Minsk Group Igor Popov, Mammadyarov stated about it after meeting with OSCE chairman-in-office Miroslav Lajčák.

“The recent statements of the Armenian leadership are not addressed to peace, like the recent statement of the National Security Service chief. I have talked about it today in a phone conversation with the Russian co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group,” Mammadyarov stated.

During the recent visit to Artsakh NSS chief said that our compatriots must live in our lands and promote the development of our country.

“The program which you call resettlement program is the main guarantee of our security. This program is a message to the Armenian people and the whole world that we have no aim to hand even a bit of territory, just the opposite, our compatriots will live there and develop our country,” Vanetsyan said.
