Armenia’s PM hopes Russia’s Putin to pay official visit to Yerevan in 2019
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hopes Russia’s president Vladimir Putin will pay official visit to Yerevan, and he will pay reciprocal visit to Moscow, the PM told Russian TASS in Brussels.
“We will meet few times this year, for instance in the sidelines of the Eurasian Economic Union summit. Besides, I hope that this year Vladimir Putin will pay official visit to Yerevan, and I will pay official visit to Moscow,” Pashinyan said.
He stressed that currently the sides are discussing the dates of the visits.
“The latest discussion was a week ago. I was talking on phone with the Russian president, and we touched upon the issue during our conversation. Our administrations are currently discussing it,” he explained.
Pashinyan also said that the meeting with Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev is also expected in near future. He stressed that EAEU inter-governmental council will be held in Yerevan on April 29.
“The heads of all governments of EAEU member states, including Dmitry Medvedev, are expected to attend the event,” Pashinyan said.
