Armenia's PM urges taxi drivers with homewear treat their job properly
Armenia’s finance minister Atom Janjughazyan briefed at the cabinet sitting today on the bill of changes in the tax legislation.
Referring to the bill, Pashinyan attached significance to the formulation of micro-business in it and relieving it of taxes. The PM stressed freeing them of taxes stems from the logic and philosophy of encouragement of work.
He said the entrepreneurs having up to 24 million AMD turnover will be freed of taxes.
The PM noted that during his visit to Brussels the availability of financial means for this segment and low interest loans was highlighted.
The head of the government also said that the bill aims to support the citizens in overcoming poverty and expressed hope that those having fifty, hundred million turnover will not split into ten, twenty mini enterprises.
The PM stressed the necessity of establishing trust between the government and the public.
“We must trust the citizens and they must trust the government,” he said, voicing hope that the bill will get positive public response.
Pashinyan also said that by freeing the individual taxi drivers of payments they hope the latter will invest the money into raising the quality of their services as each taxi driver forms the image of the country.
The PM urged the taxi drivers with homewear to treat their work properly starting from not smoking in their taxis to paying attention to their appearance.
Speaking about shadow salaries, he said that this bill will bring them out from the shadow.
“After the revolution 37,000 jobs appeared, the majority of which were not registered jobs, I hope this process will continue. We want to encourage high salaries,” he said.
