Manvel Grigoryan refuses to give testimonies in sidelines of March 1 criminal case
Former deputy defense minister Manvel Grigoryan refused to give any testimonies in the sidelines of March 1 criminal case.
Pastinfo writes that the Special Investigation Service tried to interrogate Manvel Grigoryan in the sidelines of the criminal case but Grigoryan used the right set by the Constitution, according to which, no one is obliged to give testimonies about spouse or close relatives if it is rationally supposed that in future it may be used against him or them.
On February 21, 2008 Armenia’s first president Levon Ter-Petrosyan stated that two deputy defense ministers Manvel Grigoryan and Gagik Melkonyan defend him.
“Manvel Grigoryan and Gagik Melkonyan stated that they are by the side of the people and will defend the candidate who enjoys people’s trust,” Levon Ter-Petrosyan stated in Liberty Square.
After this statement Grigoryan and Melkonyan were sacked for participating in political processes.
