Issue of Armenia’s PM’s authority to present Karabakh at peace talks to be solved: Karabakh MP

The joint session of Armenia’s and Artsakh’s security councils continues at Artsakh’s presidential residence.

Chairperson of Artsakh parliament’s foreign relations standing committee Arzik Mkhitaryan told Aysor.am that the joint session will discuss some issues which will refer to the proposal of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs.

“If there is an already formed document it will be discussed. In my opinion, the issue of authorities with which Pashinyan may appear before Azerbaijan and the world will also be discussed. If Mr Pashinyan has concerns that Artsakh has not given authorities to him to participate in the negotiations and make decisions, I think today’s session will solve the issue,” Arzik Mkhitaryan said.

“Of course, we trust Armenia’s authorities and are ready to cooperate and promote the adoption of pro-Armenian decision,” she said.
