Armenian deminer with foot injury continues receiving treatment in Syrian hospital
Armenian deminer who received foot injury while implementing demining mission in Syria has not been transported to Armenia yet.
He continues receiving treatment in Syrian hospital, Armenian Center for Humanitarian Demining and Expertise public relations department representative Nazeli Elbakyan told Aysor.am.
He said his health condition is evaluated as normal. The date of his transportation is not clear.
Asked whether the deminer will be replaced by another one, Elbakyan said no such issue has been discussed yet.
She said the Armenian humanitarian mission continues its activity in Syria, no impediments have arisen during this time.
An Armenian deminer was injured on March 7 during demining activity in Syria. The incident was caused by trap mine with plastic waist.
