Adoption of bill on State Fee to allow only big players stay in the market
Advocates of pawnshops and currency exchange rates met today with the PM’s aide Nairi Sargsyan and presented all their arguments against the raise of state fee.
“He listened to us, promised to have discussions with the responsible of the sector. In case of necessity he will brief to PM. The aid said he must listen to the second side too and get familiarized with the issue,” Mher Gevorgyan, advocate of interests of pawnshops said.
He did not exclude that by raising the state fee the state aims at cutting the number of pawnshops to promote the activity of banks.
“In case of adoption of such decision only big players will remain in the market,” Grigoryan said.
