Artsakh becomes power exporting country
Artsakh government summed up the 2018 with quite high economic figures, registering 11,9% economic growth, Artsakh State Minister Grigory Martirosyan told Aysor.am.
The state minister described the 11,9% as “quite high” index.
The economic growth has been registered in mine industry, energy, construction sectors. The minister said the industry sector has registered over 30% growth.
Another novelty in Artsakh in 2018 is that the republic has started exporting power.
“The 2018 is the first year we may be considered to be power exporting country. In a year time we have succeeded to produce more power than we consumed with the difference having been involved in Armenia’s whole energy sector,” Martirosyan said.
