Armenian-U.S. relations positive: Paul Stronski
There is certain economic potential for American investments in this region and in Armenia in particular, but it is not being used at its full yet, senior fellow in the Russia and Eurasia Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace said at the international conference in Orbeli center today.
He stressed that Armenian-American cooperation in the IT sector is quite promising and may have good prospects.
He said Armenia is looking in the direction of the West and the USA notices it but sees no issues, understanding that Armenia has rather difficult geopolitical location.
“I believe that Armenia’s relations with the USA are quite positive and spontaneous. Armenia may have strategic relations with one country and at the same time have good relations with another one,” he said.
Senior expert from Russian strategic research institute Konstantin Tasits said that the revolution in Armenia was exclusively domestic issue aimed at solution of domestic issues which allows saying that in Armenia colorful revolution did not take place.
